My Superstar

“Happy mother's day!” A greeting that would never be enough to express how thankful and happy I am for my mother. It is unbelievable that a single person can give so much love. Mother's are precious gifts from God. They are packed with love, forgiveness, and understanding. They are strongest for they give life, nurture, and upbring their children to their best potential. No love is as great as a mother's love. As an appreciation of this greatness, mother's day is celebrated by the whole world.

A celebration on the 2nd Sunday of May honoring mothers is a celebration that no one should miss. On this special day, showing love and appreciation towards mothers must be everyone’s priority. There are 365 days in a year in which mothers never miss a single day to care and love their children compared to a single day to thank them for it. Mother's day is a global celebration wherein it is celebrated in a variety of ways but with the same purpose.

Think of how your mother cooks for you everyday or how she takes care of you when your sick although  she is also sick herself? Mother's are selfless when it come to their children. Think of all the sacrifices mother's make for their child. So as a child, how hard can it be to prepare simple gifts? Giving handmade letters and chocolates has always been the traditional way of celebrating mother’s day. However, even the simplest help in doing chores could be a great gift to mothers.

Mothers have always been amazing. If I was to name the best person in the world, it wouldn't be a politician, scientist, or any know personality but instead, I would confidently shout my mother’s name. Let us all appreciate our mothers not only on mother's day. They have cared and love us from the very beginning, so we must love them until the end.
