Attempt to Grasp and Withstand

The world has been fighting an invisible enemy which has caused the world to stop. Businesses, establishments , and schools has stopped operating during the global pandemic. This has pushed the academe to invent ways make education available amidst the pandemic. The Department of Education has introduced distance learning to reach their goal of continuing education during the pandemic with no risk of spreading COVID-19 virus among students. For the past months, students have gained education in the comfort of their homes either through modular or online learning.

In the month of January in the present year, public school students have moved forward to their second quarter. New lessons were introduced to us, students, which would probably be useful in our educational journey. Notes are included our modules  which I think played a huge role in my learning process. I have realized the importance of reading specially that the lessons in our second quarter is more difficult than the lessons we have encountered in the first quarter. I have encountered and gained new things that made me more knowledgeable about certain things.

Although students have been exposed to distance learning for quite a while already, some are still struggling to adapt. I must admit that I am one of those students who are encountering difficulties. There are some lessons that I just can't seem to understand. Despite the availability of printed lessons, it is still very difficult to understand some lessons which makes it difficult to complete the tasks given. As a student, I tend to force myself to understand the lesson in order to learn despite the difficulties and sometimes it would take me hours to analyze and understand the lesson. However, it is all worth it for the satisfaction whenever I finally understand the lesson is truly rewarding.

The pandemic has pushed everyone to mandatorily adjust. A lot has changed and numerous people were and are still being affected. As a student, I can say that the pandemic has taken a huge toll in our education. Gaining education during a global pandemic may have promising results but the process is really difficult specially to students. Despite all the difficulties, we must strive to do our best and excel. Like how the world is fighting the pandemic, we should also fight by doing our best to learn.
