Freed
Dedication is something that only a few individuals possess. It is vital is achieving a goal. In our our case, it is a key that unlocked our chains years ago. Being slaves by other nations in our own land is devastating. Luckily, there are heroes who had overflowing dedication and patriotism who did not lose hope on aiming for our freedom. The freedom that we are all indulging to in this moment is hard earned. Appreciation and recognition is the least we can do to show gratefulness to those brave heroes. In any situation, we should all find time to remember and appreciate their sacrifices.
Dreadful nights and sorrowful mornings is what our country
experienced under captivation. Philippines being ruled by foreign people is a nightmare.
Luckily, we were freed and still free. The struggles Filipinos experienced during
those dark times of colonization has been put to an end. The luxury of freedom has
finally been granted by this magnificent country because of those who dedicated
their lives to their country.
Day of Valor or Araw ng Kagitingan is dedicated to those who faught for their home country. As beneficiaries of their sacrifices, we must pay respect and honor to them. The freedom and peace we are now experiencing wouldn't be present if not for them. Therefore as Filipino citizens benefitting from the sacrifices of the brave heroes, it is our obligation to maintain the peace and freedom that they have paid off their lives for.
